Peter Maynard is an independent producer working in the fields of advertising, film and television. He began his commercials career at 4Creative where he became an award-winning producer for a number of directors including Brett Foraker, Kjetil Njoten, Phil Lind, Siri Bunford and Tom Tagholm. He went on to become a creative agency producer at Fallon London (working on projects for Orange, Sony and Coca-Cola) before moving on to a hybrid agency/production role at Kream London, where he worked closely with the Karmarama agency on a number of campaigns (inc. Costa Coffee, Lastminute.com and Early Learning Centre).
At the start of 2011 he returned fully to production producing and is nowadays found happily working with a variety of creative folk on everything from TV commercials, to branded content and documentaries, to moving image art. He has most recently collaborated with directors Siri Bunford (at Knucklehead), Brian Harrington, Will Clark and Steven Qua on projects for Nike (through Wieden & Kennedy), The Girl Effect, Comedy Central and Amnesty International respectively.
Peter has also produced award-winning, self-generated, theatrical short films and TV documentaries for the likes of The Discovery Channel, Channel 4 Television, Working Title Films and a number of UK Film Council regional bodies. The latest of which, ‘In The Blood’, premiered at Sheffield and is now making it’s way around the International film festival circuit.
